San Lorenzo Heritage - a Classic yacht design by Zuccon International project and Lissoni
A Timeless Classic
In the contemporary nautical landscape, often dominated by the race for size, Sanlorenzo has chosen to celebrate its history and the true essence of Italian design with a unique project: SHE (Sanlorenzo Heritage).
Not a new series, but an exclusive, 25-meter vessel that recalls the classic minimalism of the sixties, revisited in a Hi-Tech and sustainable key. SHE is a manifesto of Quiet Luxury – the elegance that doesn't need to shout to assert itself – and for ADARA YACHTS, it is the symbol of how tradition can guide innovation.
1. A Timeless Design: The Homage to Classic Yachting
The design of SHE - new San Lorenzo Yacht in collaboration with Zuccon International Project, stands out for its perfect proportions and a silhouette that immediately evokes the sober elegance of the sixties.
Pure and Minimalist Lines: The forms are clean and the volumes symmetrical, a counter-trend aesthetic choice that prioritizes refinement over spectacle.
Volumes of Light: Despite the nod to the past, the deckhouse features large, full-height windows and the intelligent use of one-way technology in the hull, which floods the interiors with natural light, creating a continuous dialogue between the saloon and the surrounding sea.
Piero Lissoni and the Interiors: The Milanese Saloon
The interiors, curated by Sanlorenzo’s Art Director, Piero Lissoni (Lissoni & Partners), are a masterful synthesis between the comfort of a sophisticated Milanese saloon and the warm atmosphere of the great classics. The design plays on a dual nature:
Iconic Materials: Judicious use of mahogany finishes and sartorial details that recall mid-twentieth-century Italian design.
Functional Modularity: The living area is conceived as a fluid space devoid of physical barriers, featuring the Smart Island modular system that allows the external furnishings (on the cockpit and sun deck) to be reconfigured according to needs, without the rigidity of fixed elements.
2. The Silent Heart: Hybrid Propulsion and Sustainability
SHE's most significant innovation is invisible: a Volvo Penta IPS hybrid propulsion system (Sanlorenzo's first with this technology). This choice is not just a technical detail, but the true expression of the Heritage philosophy: a conscious luxury that respects the environment.
Latest-Generation Navigation Modes:
Full-Electric (Absolute Silence): SHE can navigate up to 9 knots (cruising at 7 knots) in fully electric mode, allowing for zero-emission entry or exit from ports and, crucially, in unparalleled acoustic silence.
Eco-Conscious Tender: The green philosophy is completed by a custom, 3.95-meter, full-electric tender made of carbon fiber for maximum lightness.
