Data controller

ADARA YACHTS S.R.L., registered office Via Toscana 42, 09018 Sarroch (CA), Italy; VAT IT04097870929; REA CA-363043. For any privacy matter: info@adarayachts.com, +39 380 389 4960.

What data we collect

The data you send us through the forms, by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp: name, e-mail, phone number, the content of your request (for example dates, destination, number of guests, budget, details of your yacht) and the language and page you wrote from. When you book or entrust us with a service, also the data needed for the contract, such as identity documents, guest and crew lists and billing details. Like every website, the hosting provider also records technical data on each visit (IP address, browser, date and time) for security and operation.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

To answer your request and prepare the proposals you ask for (pre-contractual measures, art. 6.1.b GDPR); to perform the charter, management, brokerage or new build contract (art. 6.1.b); to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations (art. 6.1.c); to keep the site secure and working and to protect our rights (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f); for statistics and advertising measurement only with your consent (art. 6.1.a), as explained in the cookie section. We do not sell your data and we do not send you newsletters or promotions without your consent.

Is providing data mandatory?

The fields marked as required in the forms are needed to reply to you: without them we cannot handle the request. Everything else is optional.

Who receives the data

Only those who need it to provide the service: Netlify, Inc. (website hosting and form handling) and Aruba S.p.A. (company e-mail, servers in Italy), as data processors; when you book a charter, the yacht's owner, manager or central agency and its crew, for the parts needed to organise the cruise (for example guest list and preferences); our accountants and legal advisers; public authorities when the law requires it. If you contact us on WhatsApp, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd under its own terms. Google Ireland Ltd receives data only with your consent (see Cookies).

Transfers outside the EU

Netlify and Google may process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months from our last contact, so we can follow up on the same enquiry. Contract and accounting documents: 10 years, as required by Italian law (art. 2220 of the Civil Code). Technical logs: for the short period set by the hosting provider for security purposes. Data processed on the basis of consent: until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of processing or data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent, without affecting what was done before. Write to info@adarayachts.com: we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

This site uses technical storage needed for it to work (for example to remember your cookie choice). Only with your consent, and separately for each purpose, it also uses: statistics cookies from Google Analytics 4 (_ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 24 months), which show us in aggregate form how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how many enquiries are sent, without storing IP addresses; and marketing cookies from Google Ads (_gcl_au, lasting 90 days, and Google cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net, lasting up to 13 months), used to measure which ads bring enquiries and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Both services are provided by Google Ireland Ltd; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. No Google tag loads before your choice, and we use Google Consent Mode to pass it on. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page; we ask again after six months.
